The Ripon Hoard, 1695
The following 23 lots are all from the famous Ripon Hoard of Anglo Saxon Kings of Northumbria. All are illustrated in 'The Ripon Hoard, 1695' by Elizabeth Pirie, 1982, BNJ vol.52 [this can be purchased from Galata Press]. Many in this hoard are the interesting unusual types - ripe for the additional research.
